What are the costs to post on Cluj-Napoca.XYZ Jobs?

There are no fees for posting a job on our website, however, if you wish to post additional jobs or purchase “addons”, such as Featured Ads, the costs are outlined from within your account.

What are Featured Ads?

A Featured Ad is designed to provide you with the most exposure on the website, and improve the chances of connecting with a candidate. Featured Ads will display on the website at the top of job searches and in other areas of the website, including the home page and on the Cluj-Napoca.XYZ main site.

Is it possible to re-use ads?

Once an ad expires, it cannot be re-used, however, during the lifetime of an ad, if you prefer to change the content and re-purpose the ad, this is possible.

What are the rules for posting an ad?

Which websites are my jobs shared to?

By default, your job will be posted to our Facebook Page, our Cluj-Napoca Jobs Facebook Group and our Twitter account.

In addition to these social networks, your job will be displayed on this website and certain jobs may be displayed on our primary website.

In some cases, jobs may be displayed on 3rd party websites.

What happens if I approve a candidate?

Upon approving a candidate, they will receive a notification, informing them that the employer has responded to their application.

You will be required to leave a short message for the candidate upon approval, which you can use to provide further instructions or a congratulatory message.

What happens if I reject a candidate?

Upon rejecting a candidate, they will receive a notification, informing them that the employer has responded to their application.

You will be required to leave a short message for the candidate upon rejection, which you can use to provide feedback or to inform the candidate that the application will not be advanced onto a further stage.

Can I reverse a candidate decision?

If you accidentally approve or reject a candidate, you cannot reverse the decision and it will remain as approved or rejected within your account until you delete it.

What happens if I do not reject or approve a candidate?

The candidate’s application will remain as “Pending” in their account, which does not indicate a successful or unsuccessful application.

The same will be displayed in your applications list.

We strongly recommend providing candidates a response, in order to keep your applications list clear and improve the recruitment process for the candidate.

Can I delete my account?

You can delete your account by emailing “removeme@cluj-napoca.xyz” or by filling out this form.

How can I message a candidate?

To message a candidate, you can either search them using the directory, or select “Send Message” button from within the candidate’s resume.

How can I block messages from a certain candidate?

If you are receiving messages from a candidate, and you believe that the only option to prevent further messages is to block them, you can do this from within any active conversation from the “Participants” section, or directly from our directory by selecting “Block“.

How do we report a candidate?

If you believe a candidate should not be a member of our website, you may report them using the form on this page.

In order for a report to be valid, the user must either be in breach of our terms and conditions or community standards.

We take reports very seriously, and urge you to not misuse this feature.

Can I be refunded for a payment?

As per our Terms and Conditions, we do not offer refunds for purchases made on Cluj-Napoca.XYZ Jobs.

In some situations, refunds can be offered, but this is at the discretion of our support team and in-line with applicable in your jurisdiction.

My job was deleted, can I restore it?

If a job is removed by our support team, or was accidentally deleted from within your account, you will need to re-create the job posting.

My job has expired, how can I re-list it?

If your job has expired, you will need to re-create the job post. This can be done from within your account and the original job post is still listed within your “Manage Jobs” section, making it easy to copy and paste information.

You may also contact us directly if you would rather re-enable a job which has been previously posted. Reactivation is dependent upon you having available credits within your account.

How can I remove a job from public view?

If you have successfully recruited for the position or wish to hide a job from our website, you can toggle the job as “Active” or “Inactive” from the actions section within the “Manage Jobs” area of your account.

Setting a job as “Inactive” still counts towards your ads lifetime, which will expire at the pre-defined period.

Can I insert contact information into my job post?

You may insert relevant contact information into any advertised jobs, however, we strongly recommend using our built-in messaging system.

This helps prevent against spam or unsolicited marketing emails being delivered to your inbox, as well as improving deliverability and tracking of communication between yourself and candidates.

How can I update my payment information?

If you have saved payment information on our website, you may update it from the “My Account” section of our website and selecting “Payment Methods”. You may access that page by clicking here.

How can I view my transaction history?

If you wish to view your order / transaction history, you may access it from the “My Account” section of our website and selecting “Orders”. You may access that page by clicking here.

Can someone else receive notifications of applications for jobs?

If you wish for another person to receive notifications regarding a certain job when an application is received, you can define this in the “Notification Email” field during job creation.

If you wish to add this email later, or remove it, you can do this by editing the job and updating the same field.

What does it cost to use Cluj-Napoca.XYZ Jobs?

It’s absolutely free. We do not charge our candidates a penny for using our service, applying for jobs or adding their resume to our website.

How can I add a resume / CV?

You may upload a resume to any job post that you apply for, however, we recommend creating a resume from within your account as this will speed up your application process and allow companies to easily locate and contact you.

This is done from within your account, under the “Manage Resumes” section. You may access it by clicking here.

Why is only 1 resume searchable?

To ensure that everyone has a fair chance, we limit the “searchable” resume to one-per-user.

This resume is available for employers to locate within our resume directory, which maximises your chances of gaining employment.

We recommend that your public resume should cater for all employers and provide a strong overview of your work and education history.

Can I hide my public resume?

If you do not wish to have your resume made available to employers to view in our database, you may toggle the “viewable” status from the “Manage Resumes” page within your account.

Simply click the eye icon to enable or disable your public CV.

Can I block an employer from contacting me?

If you are receiving messages from an employer and no longer wish to receive communication from them, you may block them from within the message thread.

To block the employer, simply open the message you have received from them within your account and select the “Block” option within the “Participants” section.

How can I report a company?

If you believe a company should not be a member of our website, you may report them using the form on this page.

In order for a report to be valid, the user must either be in breach of our terms and conditions or community standards.

We take reports very seriously, and urge you to not misuse this feature.

I accidentally applied for a job, can I cancel the application?

If you have accidentally applied for a job, or wish to change your mind, you may withdraw your application from within your account.

To do this, simply access the “Applications” page, by clicking here, and click the “Withdraw” icon from the actions column for the job you wish to remove your application for.

Note: The employer would have received an instant notification regarding your application, but not it’s removal.

Can I provide contact information in my resume?

By default, your contact information will be displayed to employers who are seeking your skill-set.

Your public resume will display your contact information and the same for any job in which you have applied.

I applied for a job using LinkedIn, how can I view my applications?

If you have applied for a job using your LinkedIn account, you will need to register an account on our website, using our LinkedIn connection option.

To do this, please click here to access the registration page, and ensure you select the LinkedIn icon.

If you are still unable to access your applications, please contact us using this form.

How do I remove my account?

If you would no longer like to use Cluj-Napoca.XYZ Jobs, you may remove your account by emailing “remove-me@cluj-napoca.xyz” or by completing this form.
